Some of Fire Hopper’s features are present during the base game and you can experience them from the very first spin. Others need to be unlocked using special symbols or random triggers. Let’s take a closer look at the slot’s features:Cascading Reels and Cluster Pays
Traditional slots use paylines, but Fire Hopper is anything but traditional. Instead, it uses a mechanic known as Cluster Pays. Rather than paylines, it triggers payouts for all connecting symbols, whether those connections are vertical or horizontal. If you can see a connection of at least 5 symbols of the same type, it will trigger a payout. And when that payout occurs, the second base game feature kicks in. Known as Cascading Reels, this feature destroys all winning symbols and replaces them with new, randomly generated ones. The exploding symbols will leave gaps that are filled by the symbols above. The new ones will then fall from the top of the slot, ensuring there is always a full game grid of 7x7 symbols. If the cascades lead to another win, the same thing will happen again, and it will keep on happening until there are no more winning connections.Wilds and Multipliers
The Gold Frog is the Wild symbol and replaces all other main game symbols. If you have 4 Red Flowers and 1 Gold Frog, for instance, it will react as if you had 5 Red Flowers. The only symbols that it does not replace are the standard and Bonus Firefly symbols. As for the standard Frog symbol, this is where the Increasing Multiplier comes from. Initially, it comes with a 1x Multiplier, but every time the Frog leaps from one place to another, the Multiplier increases. To activate these leaps, the Frog symbol must appear alongside a standard Firefly symbol, at which point it gives chase.Bonus Spins
The Bonus Firefly symbol works a lot like the standard variation of this symbol. When it appears alongside a Frog, the Frog will give chase and the Multiplier will increase. The difference is that when the Frog catches the Firefly, the Bonus Spins are launched. You will receive 7 Bonus Spins upon activation of this feature. These spins take place on the same reels, which means you’ll continue to benefit from the Cascading Reels. The Frog symbol and Gold Frog symbol are both active here, and every Gold Frog that’s left behind following a cascade includes the latest Multiplier from the leaping Frog. All wins that accumulate during the Bonus Spins are released at the end of the feature.Instant Prize
If the leaping Frog lands on an Instant Prize symbol, it triggers an instant prize payout equal to the amount shown. All prizes are shown as bet multipliers and range from 1x to 1,000x.
