Lightning Roulette: How to Play

Based on European Roulette, the Live Lightning variant has 36 numbers on the wheel, including a single zero. There’s an added electrifying gameplay element where random multipliers (up to 500x) are added to lucky numbers and won on straight bets. Put simply, if you bet on a single number and it is a lucky number, the multiplier is your payout, leading to huge potential rewards.

How to Play Roulette

Roulette is a simple but classic casino game. To play, all you need to do is place your chips on the number or numbers you want to bet on. The roulette wheel is spun, and the ball is dropped onto the wheel in the opposite direction. When the ball falls into a numbered pocket, that’s the win.

Roulette bets are a little more complex as there are many types, and each has its odds of winning. Roulette bets are usually split into inside and outside bets. Inside bets are harder to win, so come with bigger payouts. For example, a straight bet (single number bet) is the hardest to win and comes with payouts of 30:1 in Lightning Roulette or 35:1 in standard roulette.

You can also make bets with a higher probability of winning, such as all odd or even numbers or red or black. These are outside bets, and with each example, as you have almost a 50% chance of winning, it pays much less at 1:1.

Lightning Roulette Gameplay

During Lightning Roulette, you will place your bets first. The random multipliers are then drawn.

There can be up to 5 potential lucky numbers per round, with multipliers of 50, 100, 200, 300, 400 or 500x. The multipliers are only applied to a single number/ straight bet, which has a 35:1 chance of winning, the least likely on the wheel. This is how you need to bet if you’re playing for the biggest payouts.
