Our favourite hat-wearing explorer is back, and this time he’s swapped the dusty tombs for a spot of sun and sand. In John Hunter and the Quest for Bermuda Riches, you’ll find John exploring a tropical paradise that’s as mysterious as it is bright. It’s a 7x7 grid where clusters are the name of the game, offering a refreshing change from the usual paylines. The vibe is lighthearted and cheeky, perfect for those moments when you just want a bit of a play in the sun.
Instead of spinning reels, symbols tumble into place. When you land a group of five or more matching symbols touching horizontally or vertically, you’ve got a win. Those symbols then vanish, allowing new ones to drop down and potentially create more wins in a single round. This Cluster Pays mechanic keeps the pace steady and the screen full of action. You’ll spot golden cups, binoculars, and precious rings scattered across the sand. John himself acts as the most valuable symbol, looking ready for anything the Bermuda Triangle might throw his way.
One of the bits we like most is the Money Collect feature. You’ll see golden treasure symbols with cash values on them. If a collect chest lands at the same time, it gathers all those values for you. There are different types of chests, too—some add extra credits, others multiply your total, and some even drop more money symbols onto the grid. It’s like finding a little extra something in your pocket you forgot was there. Keep an eye out for the Cursed Wilds as well. These aren't as scary as they sound; they can apply a multiplier to your wins or add extra wilds to the board to help things along.
If you land three or more scatter symbols, you’ll trigger the Extra Spins feature. You start with 12 spins, and the Money Collect feature remains active throughout. The best part? All the money symbols that land but aren't collected are added to a pot. At the end of the round, you get a chance to spin a wheel to potentially land that entire pot. It’s a nice little twist to end your island visit. If you’re ready to join John, you can sign up at Casumo and see what the tropics have in store.
